About Me: Anna Pavlou

Anna ‘Pav’ Pavlou is an 18-year-old born and bred Melburnian and enjoys sharing everyone’s connection to sport through her words.

‘Pav’ is a sports writer for The Women’s Game, AFL Victoria, The Footy Almanac, The Roar, The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) and is the VAFA Division 2 scribe.

​She has been published in The Age newspaper as well as the Shared Stories Anthology.

​Anna is a sports nut who has a passion for the Geelong Cats Football Club and the Australian Cricket Team.

Most Winter weekends you’ll find her down at the Ross Gregory Oval in St Kilda, supporting Power House AFC, who play in Division 2 in the VAFA. Or sitting in her usual seat in the Players Stand down at Kardinia Park.

During Summer, you’ll find her in the MCC Members cheering on the Green and Gold or Melbourne Stars.
